Now onto today's cards. Yes, I did two. I made my first card because I was thinking waves and water when I saw the sketch. However I felt it was just way too dark. Yes, the card is much darker than the picture of it. It's actually kind of cool, but it made me think of pirates! lol So, I had to brighten things up a bit...
...and this is the card I came up with. Much brighter! It was a lot easier to make too. I hope you enjoyed both of my cards. Don't forget to check out the Red Hot's for a chance to win blog candy.

How to get the wave on the card...
I took a scrap piece of paper and cut a wave in it about 2/3's of the way down to use as my template. I then placed the two pieces of paper about 3/4" apart like this and attached to my card stock with dotto...
The part you want to sponge is the Very Vanilla portion. I used one color on my first sample and three different colors on my second sample. Hope this makes sense to anyone who wants to give it a try! :)
